Fire & Brimstone Duo are a husband & wife team who’s stage presence and sweet harmonies delight and captivate audiences of all ages. The Duo formed in 1989, when Brimstone taught Fire to play Reggae and Caribbean music on the keyboards. They soon married and have been performing weekly shows since that time which is the reason for their incredible distinct sound that commands your attention.
Building a rewarding 15 year career with Reggae Music in Southern California, the Duo sometimes included a third or fourth member where they performed original Reggae songs and covers to dancing crowds at restaurants, clubs, universities and more.
The Duo was the house band for the Cuban American Restaurant Cha Cha Cha in Encino for 7 years, where celebrities and television personalities frequented. Subsequently, this lead to many exclusive engagements.
They released a CD in 1998 that received airplay on local and regional radio stations.
Fire & Brimstone relocated to Central Arkansas in 2004 to care for elders. They again built a rewarding career, with an increase of fans at many established and exclusive venues.
In the mid-1980’s, Fire began singing professionally. After opening a cultural give shop in Hollywood she starting an independent record label. For several years, she worked closely with the promoter of the largest Reggae concert / festival west of the Mississippi assisting legendary Reggae artist. Fire is the creator and producer of the original 'Woman In Reggae' revue in the Los Angeles area which featured headliners as well as aspiring female musicians and vocalist on many shows from 1987 to 1999.
Brimstone, was born and raised on the Nature Island of the Caribbean, Dominica. He has been involved in music 51 years. This self-taught, accomplished musician plays guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and percussions. He has performed in a few Caribbean Islands and extensively throughout America.
He has built a solid reputation in New York, Texas, Florida, Utah and California appearing on show bills with headliners and with over 40 bands on hundreds of shows throughout his career. In 1986 the manager for the English Reggae band Steel Pulse asked Brimstone to audition. Personal reasons kept this opportunity from being fulfilled.
Career highlights include performing at The Noga Hilton on the French Riviera in 2003 when they traveled to Midem International Music Market. Another is their largest venue performance celebrating Bob Marley for the Ragga Muffin Fest 2000 at Long Beach Arena in California where 5 other musicians joined to showcase their full band, "Judgement Day". They have aroused crowds to roaring ovations at festivals and concerts.
This talented couple continues to perform at many venues on a weekly basis in Central Arkansas, Hot Springs and surrounding counties.
